The Real Why

Splash of Charm began as a sister company to Splash of Ink, but over time it became something much more personal.

The name itself holds the heart of the brand.

When most people hear the word "charm," they think of something cute, whimsical, or decorative.

That's not what it means here.

To me, charm is made up of all the things that shape who we are.

The experiences we've lived through.

The lessons we've learned.

The things we love.

The things we've lost.

The things that make us laugh.

The things that help us keep going.

The books we return to.

The coffee we reach for.

The people and pets we hold close.

The hope we protect.

The comfort we seek.

The grace we give ourselves.

The resilience we build.

The compassion we share.

All of those things make up our charm.

Splash of Charm is simply a splash of mine.

Every product, collection, design, and character exists because it represents something meaningful. Sometimes it's a lesson. Sometimes it's a memory. Sometimes it's a comfort. Sometimes it's a reminder. Sometimes it's simply a small thing that makes life feel a little brighter.

That's why you'll find books, coffee, dogs, flowers, stationery, humor, cozy comforts, and meaningful symbols woven throughout the shop.

They're not random.

They're pieces of a story.

They're pieces of a life.

They're pieces of the charm that has been built through experience, growth, hope, setbacks, laughter, resilience, and love.

The Charm Crew represents some of the lessons that have helped shape my own journey.

🐶 Bean reminds us to protect our peace, laugh when we can, and stop carrying things that don't belong to us.

🐿️ Nutz reminds us that it's okay to be nervous, uncertain, or overwhelmed—and to try anyway.

🌮 Taco reminds us to seek comfort, embrace small joys, and make room for the things that help life feel a little lighter.

🦛 Hippie reminds us to hold onto hope, kindness, love, and the belief that better days are possible.

🦥 Sleepy reminds us that it's okay to get tired, that rest is part of being human, and that we don't have to feel guilty for needing a break.

These characters aren't just mascots.

They're reminders.

They're lessons.

They're pieces of the charm that make up who I am.

And maybe you'll find a piece of yourself in them, too.
